สมาคมสัตวแพทย์ควบคุมฟาร์มสัตว์ปีก (สสคส)
ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปลายปี 2547 ภายหลังจากที่กรมปศุสัตว์จัดทำระบบฟาร์มสัตว์ปีกมาตรฐาน และมีนโยบาย ให้มีการขึ้นทะเบียนสัตวแพทย์ผู้ควบคุมฟาร์มสัตว์ปีกทั่วประเทศ สัตวแพทย์เหล่านี้ได้รับการปรับพื้นความรู้ ในด้านการเลี้ยงการจัดการสัตว์ปีกสมัยใหม่ กฎระเบียบระหว่างประเทศ และความปลอดภัยในอาหารจากกรมปศุสัตว์ จากนั้นมาสัตวแพทย์ที่ได้รับการอบรมจนมีความรู้ความเข้าใจดีเหล่านี้ จึงมีส่วนร่วมในการผลักดันให้ฟาร์มเลี้ยงสัตว์ปีก เข้าสู่ระบบฟาร์มมาตรฐาน โดยเริ่มจากฟาร์มอาสาสมัคร ฟาร์มเพื่อการส่งออก และ ขยายออกเป็นการบังคับใช้กับ ฟาร์มเลี้ยงสัตว์ปีกทั่วประเทศ หลังจากที่ประเทศไทยประสบปัญหาโรคระบาดร้ายแรงใน 2-3 ปีนี้ นอกจากนี้ สัตวแพทย์ควบคุมฟาร์มสัตว์ปีกยังมีส่วนร่วมในการปรับมาตรฐานการผลิตสัตว์ปีก และการผลิตสินค้าจากสัตว์ปีก ให้มีมาตรฐานใกล้เคียงกันทั่วประเทศโดยให้ความสำคัญในเรื่องความปลอดภัยของอาหารตลอดห่วงโซ่อาหาร สัตวแพทย์ผู้ควบคุมฟาร์มจะดูแลตั้งแต่คุณภาพของสัตว์ปีกจากฟาร์ม จนถึงสินค้าอุปโภคบริโภค (From farm to table) ให้มีคุณภาพตามความต้องการของคู่ค้า และกฎระเบียบระหว่างประเทศ ทั้งนี้ผู้บริโภคภายในประเทศก็จะได้รับเนื้อสัตว์ปีก และผลิตภัณฑ์จากสัตว์ปีกที่มีคุณภาพเท่าเทียมกับสินค้าส่งออกด้วย
ปัจจุบันมีสัตวแพทย์ผู้ควบคุมฟาร์มสัตว์ปีกที่ได้รับการอบรมแล้ว รวมทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 700 คน
Thai Poultry Veterinary Association (TPVA)
TPVA formed since the end of 2004 after Department of Livestock Development (DLD), Agricultural Ministry, set the standard poultry farm system and had the policy to register the poultry farm veterinarians in Thailand . These veterinarians were harmonized on knowledge of modern poultry management, international regulations and food safety by DLD. These veterinarians have participated to drive all poultry farms into a DLD standard farm system by initiated using volunteer farms, then all of farms for export and the DLD standard farm system were extended to all poultry farms in Thailand during this 2-3 years that Thailand encounters with the epidemic contagious disease (AI). These poultry farm veterinarians also participated to standardize the standard of poultry management and poultry products of Thailand by emphasizing on food safety in whole food chain. Poultry farm veterinarians do take care for poultry quality from farm to table, so that the quality similar in as customer requirements and international regulations are met. By these practices, local consumers also get equal quality of the poultry meat and poultry products as the exportable products. Nowadays there are 700 well - trained poultry farm veterinarians.
วัตถุประสงค์
• เป็นศูนย์กลางแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ ความคิดเห็น ประสบการณ์ในหมู่สมาชิก และสังคมทั่วไป
• ส่งเสริมการประกอบอาชีพสัตว์แพทย์ ให้มีคุณภาพและมาตรฐานสูงขึ้น
• สนับสนุนให้มีการศึกษา ค้นคว้า วิจัย งานในวิชาชีพสัตวแพทย์
• ให้ความร่วมมือกับองค์กรทั้งของเอกชน และรัฐ ทั้งในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ
• ส่งเสริมการบริโภคเนื้อและผลิตภัณฑ์จากสัตว์ปีก และยกระดับมาตรฐานการบริโภคเนื้อและผลิตภัณฑ์จากสัตว์ปีกอนามัย
• การกระทำที่ไม่ฝักใฝ่กับการเมือง
• ส่งเสริมงานด้านวัฒนธรรมไทย
Objectives :
• To be a center for knowledge, opinions, experiences for members and public
• Support and promote in quality and standard of veterinary professionalism
• Support for study, research and activities in veterinary issues.
• Provide cooperative works with private and organizations, both domestic and international
• Promote consumption and increase standard in poultry meat and poultry products.
• To be non-democratic organization.
• Support Thai culture and tradition.
กิจกรรมของสมาคมฯ
เนื่องด้วยในระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา โรคไข้หวัดนกเป็นปัญหาของทุก ๆ ประเทศในโลกรวมทั้งประเทศไทยด้วย ฉะนั้นกิจกรรมในเรื่องการจัดสัมมนาของสามคมฯ จึงเกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหาของโรคนี้ สามคมฯ ได้จัดสัมมนาขึ้น 2 ครั้ง ในปี 2547 เรื่อง Short course AI และ เหลียวหลัง แลหน้า จากไข้หวัดนกไทยสู่เวทีโลก เพื่อให้ความรู้แก่ประชาชนในเรื่องโรคระบาดร้ายแรงนี้ สมาคมฯได้จัดทำโปสเตอร์รณรงค์เกี่ยวกับมาตรการในการป้องกัน และระมัดระวังการติดต่อของโรคไข้หวัดนกฉบับชาวบ้าน โดยเน้นที่การสื่อความด้วยรูปภาพ ในงาน VIV
ในปี 2548 สมาคมฯ ร่วมกับสัตวแพทย์สมาคม จัดสัมมนาในหัวข้อเรื่อง นานาทรรศนะ การแก้ปัญหาไข้หวัดนก และได้จัดกิจกรรมให้แก่สมาชิก ในหัวข้อเรื่องเรียนรู้ภาคปฏิบัติในการเป็นสัตวแพทย์ผู้ควบคุมฟาร์มสัตว์ปีก อันเป็นที่มาของ คู่มือปฏิบัติสำหรับสัตวแพทย์ควบคุมฟาร์มสัตว์ปีก เพื่อให้สมาชิกใช้เป็นแนวทางในการดูแลฟาร์มสัตว์ปีกทุก ๆ ประเภท
ในปี 2549 สมาคมได้จัดทำ Website ของสมาคมขึ้น โดยใช้ชื่อ www.tpva.net เพื่อให้สมาคมฯ สามารถติดต่อสื่อสารกับสมาชิกได้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น ผู้สนใจสามารถเข้าไปดูข้อมูลใน Website เพื่อหาความรู้เพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับสัตว์ปีก ความคืบหน้าในการพัฒนากฎระเบียบต่าง ๆ ของประเทศ ข่าวเศรฐกิจการเกษตร สถานภาพของการเป็นสมาชิก ฯลฯ นอกจากนี้ สมาคมฯได้ช่วยจัดทำโปสเตอร์เผยแพร่เรื่อง ระบบคอมพาร์ทเมนต์ในอุตสาหกรรมการเลี้ยงไก่เนื้อเพื่อการส่งออก ให้กับกรมปศุสัตว์และได้จัดแสดงในงาน VIV 2007
TPVA 's activities
In year 2004 , because of Avian Influenza disease is a problem worldwide including Thailand , the activities or seminars that TPVA were involved all related to AI disease. There were two seminars; Short course AI and Backward and Forward from Thai AI to World rostrum. The aim of these seminars was to educate public on this epidemic contagious disease. Besides this, TPVA has produced a communal poster about preventive and vigilant instruction about AI transmission, emphasizing with pictures in VIV ASIA show.
In year 2005, The TVPA cooperated with The Thai Veterinary Association to set the seminar topic Diverse visions on AI problem solving. Another activity for member was the Poultry farm veterinarian workshop. The Clinical Practice Guideline manual of all kind of commercial poultry production was produced in this workshop.
In year 2 006, the TPVA created a website www.tpva.net to be communicated between TPVA and members. Members and interested persons are able to visit our website to find the information about poultry :- update on any new Thai poultry regulations, news on agricultural economy , the member status, etc. Another activity of TPVA is support the Department of Livestock Development on produced a communal poster about Compartmentalisation in Thai broiler production. This poster was presented to the public on VIV 2007 exhibition.
